Vikram Chatterjee is a first-year medical student from Southern California with strong interests in oncology and data science. He graduated from Claremont McKenna College in May 2025 with a degree in Neuroscience and an academic sequence in Data Science. During his undergraduate years, he conducted research spanning cancer immunotherapy at City of Hope, neuronal autophagy at UCSF, and cognitive neuroscience at Claremont McKenna, integrating both wet-lab and computational approaches.Â
In 2023, Vikram focused on CAR T cell therapies at City of Hope, where he compared different costimulatory receptors for dual-targeting CAR T cells for leukemia. These experiences solidified his commitment to applying data-driven methods to advance cancer research and treatment.
Now at MCW, Vikram is eager to expand on this intersection of oncology and computational methods. Through his work with the AN.AI Lab, he hopes to contribute to the development of artificial intelligence tools that can accelerate cancer research, improve clinical decision-making, and ultimately enhance patient outcomes.
