Meghan is a General Surgery resident at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame before completing medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she also received a Masters of Science in Clinical and Translational Research.
Meghan is currently completing two years of dedicated research. She was selected as the 2026–2027 We Care Scholar, supporting her work investigating clinical outcomes and financial toxicity associated with hypofractionated neoadjuvant radiation therapy for patients with retroperitoneal sarcoma. Her research interests include disparities in cancer care delivery, patient-centered outcomes, the financial impact of cancer care, and the application of artificial intelligence to improve surgical and oncologic care. She was also selected as a 2026–2028 Annals of Surgery Editorial Fellow. Following residency, Meghan plans to pursue fellowship training in surgical oncology.
Outside of the lab and the operating room, Meghan enjoys traveling, reading, making espresso, and running along Milwaukee's Lakefront Trail.
